I love the term 'we're expecting' when talking about pregnancy
because it makes it sound like there’s more than one outcome.
Yeah, we’re expecting a baby
but it could be a velociraptor.
I want to draw something for Halloween...
- Mum: Your exams are next week.
- Me: So...?
- Mum: Priorities.
- Me: Draw first, then study.
- Mum: NO. STUDYING IS MORE IMPORTANT.
- Me: Dull.
- Mum: YOUR WHOLE LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.
- Me: It's okay, Mum. I'll just make up a job.
