“I don’t think I’m intense in life. This must be where it comes out. I don’t really like anything to be too serious. Then you lose the humanity of it.”

andrew scott can pull off any role, and he has the tendency to break my heart with his work. everything I’ve seen him do is never short of breath taking. every character he plays is just spot on. he’s an incredibly talented actor with such passion and truthfulness who can make me laugh just as much as make me cry. watching him act is like music to my ears. there’s nowhere to go but up for him.
“I think you definitely get the benefit of the doubt,” he says. “To get really good parts executives need to go, ‘Which guy is that? Oh it’s the guy from that thing’. Any actor will tell you that you go for a job you’re massively suitable for and they give it to someone who’s got more of a selling point. That’s a very dangerous thing – that’s how exciting projects are totally destroyed by some miscast actor who’s got a profile.” [x]

Today I bought the special collector’s edition of Vanity Fair because this photo is just gorgeous.
Hello Mr Scott!
